 The Library Society of China, hereinafter referred to as LSC, is a non-profit academic and intellectual organization composed of library and related industry or agency professionals. It was established and registered according to the principles of voluntary combination, legal registration, and academic exchange. As an important social force for the development of library industry in China, LSC is the bridge and link between the Party, government, and library workers. It plays a vital role in promoting the comprehensive development of science and technology, efficient management, and the advancement of library and information services. LSC is committed to working with other social forces to comprehensively promote the development of library industry in China and to contribute to the construction of a knowledge-based, innovative, and sustainable country.
